One idea in, available names out.
Domain Name Research is a pipeline, not a single endpoint. Describe your product in a sentence and it runs the whole chain — reads your idea, brainstorms dozens of name candidates, checks which ones are actually free to register, scores the survivors, and enriches the finalists — then hands back a ranked shortlist of names you can register today. Every name comes with why it fits, whether the concept is trending, and whether it's worth the price. Billed per run. No subscription, no seat license.
A pipeline, not an endpoint. Every step is its own paid call.
The shortlist is assembled from several independent steps. The thinking is free; you only pay for the live availability checks and the value-and-trend enrichment that earn their keep. You pay for one run; the pipeline pays each source as it goes — and only names that are actually free to register make it to the result.
Understand the idea
Read your one or two sentences and pull out the category, audience, value, and tone — playful, serious, or technical — plus the concept words, metaphors, and adjacent ideas worth naming around. This step is free.
Brainstorm candidates
Generate 30–50 name ideas across styles — literal, metaphor, invented, compound, and short-and-punchy — and pick the one to three best-fitting endings (.com by default, plus .ai / .io / .app and others where they suit the idea). Awkward, hard-to-spell, or bad-connotation names are dropped before a cent is spent. This step is free.
Check what's actually free
Bulk-check every surviving candidate for live availability in one batched call, then drop everything that's already taken — so only names you can register today move forward. This is the first paid step, and it's cheap per name.
Score the survivors
Rate each available name on how well it signals your idea, how easy it is to say and spell, how memorable it is, how well the ending fits the category, and whether it carries any unintended meaning — combined into a single 0–10 score. This step is free.
Enrich the finalists
For the top names only, add the bonus insight: whether the concept is trending right now and whether that's a tailwind or a fad, plus the registration price and whether the name carries any premium markup or prior use. Paid, finalists only — where it's worth it.
For anyone naming or claiming something and tired of dead ends.
The same pipeline, whether you're naming your own product or claiming a name worth having. You bring the idea or the trend; it brings the available, scored shortlist.
Name the thing without losing a day.
Describe the product and get back names you can register right now — not a list of clever ideas that are all taken. Skip the cycle of brainstorm, check, disappointed, repeat, and walk away with a shortlist you'd actually be happy to live with.
Naming options for the pitch, fast.
Bring a client brief and get a ranked set of available names with a reason each one fits and whether it's worth the price — enough to walk into the naming conversation with real options instead of a blank page.
Stop bikeshedding the name.
Spend a few dollars instead of a weekend. Get a handful of available, sensible names with the endings that fit, so you can register one and get back to building the actual thing.
Spot available, brandable names while a concept is hot.
Point it at a trending concept and get back names that are actually free, scored for brandability, with a read on whether the trend is a real tailwind or a fad — plus whether the price is standard or carries a premium markup, so you don't overpay on the way in. The brand-safety step keeps you on generic and invented names and clear of trademarks that aren't yours to take.
Claim the campaign domain the same day.
When a launch, microsite, or campaign name comes up, get a memorable available domain for it in one run — checked live and scored for fit — instead of discovering the obvious choice is already gone after the deck is built.
Naming as one tool call.
Give your agent a product idea or a trend to watch; it brainstorms, checks availability, scores, and returns a shortlist of registerable names with insight on each — no human running availability checks across a dozen tabs or managing accounts.
Describe your idea. Get names you can register.
Run the pipeline once and pay for that run. No subscription, no seat license. Give it a sentence about what you're building and get back a ranked shortlist of available names — each with why it fits, whether the concept is trending, and whether it's worth the price.

How is this different from a free name generator or an availability checker?
+
A free generator hands you clever names that are mostly already taken. A checker tells you if one name you typed is free — but you still have to think of it. This fuses both and adds the judgement in between: it reads your idea, brainstorms dozens of fitting names, checks which are actually free, scores the survivors, and tells you why each fits and whether it's worth the price. The whole value is that neither half alone saves you the time in between.
Does it only show names I can actually register?
+
Yes — that's the point. Every candidate is checked live for availability, and anything already taken is dropped before you ever see it. You're never shown a name you can't have, so you can fall in love with one on the list and go register it.
What does one run cost?
+
A few dollars per run. The brainstorming and scoring are free; you pay for the bulk availability checks across dozens of candidates and the value-and-trend enrichment on the finalists. You pay once, at the moment you actually need a name — no subscription and no seat license.
What does each suggestion show?
+
An available name and its ending, the price to register it, a 0–10 score, why it fits your idea (the concept it signals, how easy it is to say and spell), whether that ending suits your category, whether the concept is trending right now and if that's a tailwind or a fad, and whether the price is standard or carries a premium markup. Then a link to go register it.
Can my AI agent run this?
+
Yes. The pipeline is built for AI agents and pays automatically per step, so an agent can run a naming search end to end — understand, brainstorm, check availability, score, enrich — and return a shortlist of registerable names without a human managing accounts or running checks across tabs.
Can I use this to find domains to register and resell?
+
For legitimate domain investing, yes — speculating on available, generic, brandable names around concepts and trends is exactly what the trend read and the worth-the-price valuation are for. What it deliberately won't help with is grabbing domains that contain someone else's trademark, brand, or personal name to profit from them: that's cybersquatting, it's illegal under the ACPA and the UDRP, and the pipeline's brand-safety step is built to flag those names and steer you away from them. Invest in generic and invented names, not in names that aren't yours to take.
Can I steer the results?
+
Yes. Alongside your idea you can add a tone preference (playful, serious, technical), a yearly budget ceiling, and endings you want included or excluded — and the pipeline weights the brainstorm and scoring to match.
