ESG Data & Screening on demand.
Pass in a single security, issuer, or holding and get back its ESG picture on demand — environmental, social, and governance ratings, carbon footprint and emissions metrics, and any active controversy flags attached to the issuer. One holding in, a decision-ready ESG record out. No full ESG feed to license, no monthly subscription needed. Charged per lookup.
Built for teams that need an ESG answer before the next step.
Four patterns where checking a single holding on demand beats waiting for the next scheduled data refresh.
Screen a name against your ESG criteria before it enters the portfolio.
The anchor case. Check a single security against your ESG and exclusion criteria at the moment of the decision — before the trade, not at the next quarterly review. Look up E, S, and G scores, carbon intensity, and any active exclusion flags for the issuer in one step. Episodic, single instrument, and naturally priced per lookup rather than a standing subscription you pay for whether you check anything or not.
Check an issuer's controversy status the moment news breaks.
When a headline fires or an internal alert surfaces, pull the current controversy record for that issuer immediately — severity, category, and ESG rating impact — to decide whether the position needs review right now. You're not waiting for the next monthly data delivery or scanning a feed for the one name you care about.
Attach ESG data to a new holding the moment it arrives.
When an unfamiliar security enters a portfolio, app, or watchlist — through a corporate action, a strategy change, or a client request — pull its ESG ratings and carbon metrics immediately rather than waiting for the next scheduled data update. The holding enters the system complete.
Answer ESG questions live, during the conversation.
When a client asks how a specific holding scores, or whether it passes their exclusion criteria, look it up in the room. Environmental and social scores, governance rating, carbon footprint, and any active controversies — returned fast enough to answer the question while the conversation is still live, not in the follow-up email.
One holding in, ESG answer out.
Your first ESG record comes back in under a second. No feed contract, no minimum spend — you only pay when you run a lookup.

If something below doesn't cover your case, ping us — we answer directly, no sales process.
What identifiers can I pass in?
+
ISIN, CUSIP, SEDOL, ticker, LEI (Legal Entity Identifier), or issuer name. Any of these resolves to the issuer's ESG record. For name inputs, the service applies matching to handle common variants.
What does a single lookup return?
+
ESG ratings: overall ESG score, and separate environmental, social, and governance scores on the provider's scale. Carbon metrics: reported and estimated carbon intensity (Scope 1, 2, and 3 where available), and year-on-year trend. Controversy flags: active controversies, their severity (minor, significant, severe), and the categories they relate to (environment, labour practices, business ethics, etc.).
What does 'charged per lookup' mean exactly?
+
You pay once per holding that returns a matched ESG record. If an identifier can't be matched to a rated issuer, there is no charge for that lookup. No monthly minimum, no subscription fee — if you don't run any lookups in a given month, you pay nothing.
How current is the data?
+
ESG scores are refreshed when underlying data changes — typically at each annual reporting cycle or when a significant controversy event occurs. Controversy flags are updated continuously as sources are monitored. For time-sensitive decisions, we recommend looking up at the point of decision rather than relying on a cached result.
How is this different from a full ESG data subscription?
+
A full subscription delivers a universe-wide data file on a recurring schedule, priced for bulk access. This service returns the ESG record for a single holding on demand, priced per lookup. For episodic screening — pre-trade, at onboarding, during a client conversation — the per-lookup model costs a fraction of a subscription for the same answer.
Which ESG rating framework does this use?
+
The service returns data from major ESG data providers, with ratings on each provider's own scale. The response identifies the rating source alongside the score, so you can apply it against whichever framework your mandate or policy references.
Can I use this inside an automated screening workflow?
+
Yes. The service is designed for automated as well as manual use — a single holding in, a structured ESG record out. Portfolio screening tools, adviser platforms, and risk systems can call it directly without any manual step in the lookup.
